Most runners and casual joggers are often spotted with a pair of white earphones stuck to their ears as they use music to spur them on, but the same cannot be said about swimmers. Not until now, that is. The SwiMP3 player is 100% waterproof and would probably slow you down by a few seconds due to a higher level of resistance, but at least you get to listen to your favorite tracks while in the water. The SwiMP3 does not use any headphones as it utilizes a couple of pads that rest against your cheek bone which transmits sound to your ear in a crystal clear manner. Unfortunately, this $250 is not only expensive, it comes with a mere 128MB of memory and a 4 hour battery life. Definitely not the device to use when you’re trying to cross the English Channel.
