In the red corner, we have the 800 lbs gorilla of the digital audio player world – the iPod, and in the blue corner is the Zune from Microsoft who aims to cannibalize Apple’s all-conquering MP3 player market share. The Zune, when placed side by side with the 80GB iPod weighs considerably less than the iPod – which is surprising as the Zune is just slightly longer and fatter than the iPod. A screen size of 3″ on the Zune makes a whole world of difference, but you can’t really appreciate the slight increase until you see both of them together. Photos courtesy of Jake Ludington.
