Some things in life simply don’t mix. Oil and water. Bush and Saddam. Pyongyang and Seoul. From the technological point of view, we have Skype handsets and mice. It doesn’t really make sense to stop all forms of work whenever you’re carrying out a conversation via Skype, assuming you’re holding up your mouse to your ear. Unfortunately, this hasn’t stopped various companies from coming up with different Skype-mouse hybrid peripherals. The £39.99 Accuratus Mouse Phone from Ceratech features all the standard buttons that are available on any good Skype handset along with caller ID, an LCD display, and a built-in speaker. I don’t know which is worse – smelling your palm’s sweat while talking over the Accuratus, or wiping spit off it with your palm after a conversation.
