BenQ P51 passes FCC scrutiny

The BenQ P50 smartphone was a real life example of the phrase “too little, too late” as it was released at the wrong time, long after its competitors had pulled ahead in terms of processing power and specifications. Hopefully the company has learnt their mistake with the BenQ P51 smartphone that has received the FCC’s nod. Available in a dull, grey exterior, the quad-band GSM smartphone will run on the Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC Phone Edition operating system with various specifications such as a 2.8″ touchscreen display, Bluetooth and WiFi, a full QWERTY keyboard, an SD memory card slot, a 1.3 megapixel camera, an extra SIM storage slot, and a built-in GPS navigation system for you to reach your business appointment on time without getting lost. The P51 also sports pre-loaded Office applications for those who are constantly on-the-go. There is no word on pricing or availability at the moment.
