Earthquake-proofing PADs

Thsoe living within the fault lines will do well to take a look at these PADs from Japan. Being a country that suffers from earthquakes frequently, the PADs certainly come in handy as they are capable of keeping all your precious electronic equipment and furniture secure without the use of residue-leaving glue or nails that scar. The only drawback I can think of is these PADs look rather unsightly, and if you were to tack every single furniture and electronic equipment to it, your home would look as if it received little nicks and cuts all over which require plenty of dressing up. There is no word on how much these cost and whether we can import them over from Japan. Of course, bear in mind they won’t save your expensive plasma TV if some rubble falls on it.
