Instead, the Elecom SCR-CD0001 will gleefully leave scratches all over the underside of your CDs and DVDs in a strangly hypnotizing pattern, rendering them 100% unreadable. This is most likely a portable USB-powered device and works great for those who carry extremely sensitive data on the road. No idea on whether it will make its way to Stateside, but there is always an import shop if you’re desperate enough to ensure your discs are properly scratched by a professional.
