IME introduces new universal Dock

Integrated Mobile Electronics (IME) was to standardize the integration process of having portable digital audio players in your vehicle with their new IME Dock. Their newfangled car audio accessory will connect to your vehicle’s audio and video systems seamlessly and is compatible with a bunch of MP3 players, courtesy of a swappable dock. At launch, you can expect the IME Dock to be compatible with all the heavyweights in the portable MP3 player market with names such as the Zune, iPod, Creative Zen Vision:M, SanDisk Sansa e200, and the iRiver clix. IME also claims that their dock can be controlled hands-free, though we’re not sure whether any of the black arts were employed in doing so. This news bodes well as we consumers no longer have to worry about upgrading all our accessories the moment we switch MP3 players.
