Invasion of the Hello Kitty cellphones

There are some irrefutable facts of life, and the never-ending madness that surrounds Hello Kitty products is one of them. OKWAP of Taiwan is currently offering four Hello Kitty cellphones that might have been around for quite some time now, but they are still worth a look as I doubt you’ll be seeing any of them make an appearance Stateside. The main culprits would be the A268Kitty, the A236Kitty, the A279Kitty, and the H133 Cinnamoroll as displayed above in order. All these cellphones come with matching pouches and cellphone charms among other accessories. Read on after the jump for more information on each handset.

The A268Kitty is a pink clamshell handset that comes with dual color displays, featuring a 3 megapixel camera and a bilingual dictionary as with most cellphones released in that region. The A236 Kitty on the other hand is a slider phone that ships with the same 3 megapixel camera, except it uses a touchscreen and stylus for navigational purposes. The sliding keypad conceals the camera when closed.

The A279Kitty is the most featured-packed among the four, boasting a built-in FM tuner, an integrated MP3 player, an impressive 3 megapixel camera with video recording capability, a bilingual dictionary, and a pedometer for exercise freaks. It is strange to note that there is no memory card slot to expand on the 100MB of onboard memory.

As for those seeking for an entry-level cellphone, there is always the H133 Cinnamoroll candybar handset.
