ION Educational Gaming System

The living room is a battleground for your attention, with upcoming console releases and new HDTV sets that are guaranteed to make even the manliest wallet weep. Hasbro hopes to gain the attention of your little ones with the ION Educational Gaming System. Since the word Gaming and Educational hardly go hand-in-hand with each other, it is interesting to note that the ION is plugged into the AV ports of a TV, where the swiveling camera in front can be adjusted to accomodate the height of a child. To boot up a game, all the child needs to do is stand approximately 1.5m away from the screen and wave at one of the half dozen floating bubbles. There are three difficulty levels in each game. You can also purchase additional disks at $20 a pop in case Junior gets bored. The ION system costs approximately $100.
