Korea is jumping on the environmental-friendly bandwagon with Loofenlee releasing the commercial food waste disposer, also known as the LF-50, at the recently concluded Eco Products Korea 2006 exhibition. This product targets commercial restaurants as well as other eateries, ensuring a proper food disposal system is in place. The LF-50 helps decompose food waste without emanating any foul odor, thanks to the dehydrated system it uses. Local municipal council workers also won’t need to contend with the smell of rotting, overnight leftovers that can be found behind every eatery. Hopefully the LF-50 will be made available across the globe, especially in developed countries where food and waste are aplenty.
