Most GPS navigation systems come in a boring rectangle shape, but Magellan decided to ramp things up with the handheld eXplorist XL handheld GPS receiver. This device is comfortable enough to hold in one hand, and comes with a robust design that includes a 3.5″ high contrast color TFT LCD display that is viewable even under direct sunlight. Magellan claims that this generous display is the largest in the market for a handheld GPS navigation device at the moment. You get 30MB of on-board memory, and should that be insufficient, you can always bump it up by throwing in an SD card. All this can be yours for $399.99.
