MP3 players that come with digital cameras are old hat, and Median’s MX-400M Media Player breaks new ground by offering VoIP support straight out of the box as long as it is connected to an Internet-enabled notebook or desktop computer. You can even assign a special number to the MX-400M for people to call you back. Features include MP3 playback, a 260k color TFT LCD display, an FM radio, a text viewer, SRS WOW effects, and an SD/MMC memory card slot for expansion options. The internal lithium-polymer battery is capable of an impressive 21 hours of play time before requiring another recharge. The MX-400M is available in 1GB and 2GB capacities, retailing for approximately $140 and $160 respectively. If only they included WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity to make life less complex.
