There is just something about e-books that never really made e-book readers fly off the shelves, mainly due to the lack of a killer application and an affordable entry price. eREAD from China has released the STAReBOOK which utilizes the most advanced e-ink technology while holding the distinction of being the lightest and thinnest electronic e-book reader in the world. Features include an SD memory card slot, an e-book editor, built-in MP3 capability, and a 6″ 800 x 600 pixels display with four levels of grey. There is no word on availability nor pricing, but hopefully it will be affordable as with most products from China are.
