Chinese scientists have successfully worked on a robot that helps ensure public places remain safe. This unique robot is capable of patrolling residential zones, airports, warehouses, departmental stores, and various other public places. Using a two wheel differential drive system to move around, it looks like a tiny car, measuring 90cm x 55cm x 75cm. Features include Pan-Tilt-Zoom and wide-angle cameras and ultrasonic equipment. This new robot is widely tipped to go on sale within the next quarter at a yet undisclosed price. If only it was released earlier, it could’ve helped dissipate the ruckus that ensued over the console launch weekend.
