Optimus OLED keyboard drops color

Scanning through the Optimus Project blog revealed some pretty shocking news – firstly, the keyboard has dropped the color OLEDs that were in the original prototype, givnig users just two choices; namely black and white. While that might turn some buyers away who cannot live without Technicolor in their world, the hefty price tag of $1,200 is just too much for the layman to bear. Only 103 of these will be made and are currently available for pre-order which will be delivered in May next year, while a second round of pre-orders will see a September 2007 delivery date for $1,000 a pop. If you have placed your order already, I guess you probably have a diamond studded TV and a gold-plated camera in your mansion as well.
