Looks like King Midas dropped by the Pentax office and offered his magical touch that turned the LX Gold camera into, uh, gold. If only he made a stop at recording studios around the world since we seem to get nothing but garbage over the airways, but I have digressed too much. The aptly named LX Gold camera is not only lovely to look at, it holds the distinction of being the first waterproof and dust-resistant SLR camera in the world. Meant to celebrate Pentax’s 60th anniversary, the LX Gold is certainly a gem worth keeping if you have a penchant for luxuriously dressed up cameras.
