You might think the Nintendo DS is a kiddy console, but that notion is thrown out of the window with the introduction of the DSMIDIWiFi, turning your fun loving DS’ touch screen into a controller that sends wireless signals to a host program on your computer, making the melody in your head a reality. The DS MIDI Keyboard program turns your DS into a virtual MIDI keyboard along with pitch wheel/MIDI control adjustment while the Kaos DS is an XY controller that works just like a Kaoss pad. Last but not least, the Pulse DS will utilize the handheld console’s Programmable Sound Generator to produce synthesized MIDI tunes. You could say the DSMIDIWiFi is one of the best homebrew applications to come out in a long time.
