WonkaZoid combines candy & video games

The Willy Wonka Candy Factory company claims that the WonkaZoid, an electronic handheld game that doubles up as a refillable candy dispenser, is the perfect combination of candy and video games. They might be right on the first count, but the WonkaZoid as a video game? I thought LCD-based games that Nintendo released a few decades ago were already extinct, with even the Game Boy offering much better graphics and gameplay. Choose from a quartet of games – Nerds Hockey, Nerds Freeze Tag, SweeTarts Oompa Candy Flip, and SweeTarts Shockers Shockball Showdown. WonkaZoids will be available soon for $4.99 to $6.99 a pop. I say kids will definitely give this a once over before returning to their colored world of PSPs and DS Lites.
