Xell of Korea has come up with a unique portable media player that literally carries the Word of God insde. This ‘pious’ device does away with carrying a thick Bible that degenerates over the years of flipping and underlining in one tiny package. Features include the ability to bookmark pages, highlight verses, as well as an MP3 player, a built-in FM tuner, and an e-book reader. It looks like the display is just a monochrome one. South Korea is home to the largest church in the world, with the congregation numbering in the tens of thousands. This device would definitely come in handy, but despite the fact that I live, breathe, and eat RSS feeds daily, I still prefer to thumb through pages when it comes to books of any kind. What’s your take on it?
