Zune to come in pink & orange?

The release of a brand new color is a strategy often used by gadget manufacturers to revive flagging sales, and this has been used to full effect with the Nintendo DS and its gamut of different colors (although one could argue that DS sales never “flagged” in the first place). Microsoft, on the other hand, officially launched the Zune yesterday to a much muted response, already has new colored Zunes in the works apparently. There is no official statement on when the pink and orange Zunes will join the marketplace, but if you want one of these brighter variants, all you need to do is wait.
