Casio recently unveiled their XJ ultra-slim DLP projector. By thin, we mean 32mm, which is not bad at all. It has a 2000 Lumens brightness and can display an image up to 300 inches (!) big. The resolution is only 1024×768 which is good enough for PowerPoint presentations and standard definition DVD, but not for HD movies or even gaming.
The projector can receive data via WIFI (11mbps) or USB, but we unfortunately don’t have more operational details on that front. Most ultra-slim projectors are using LED lights and can’t offer that kind of performance – This projector is cooled using liquid trapped in a heat-pipe system, similar to those used to cool micro-processors.
