Dopod M700 rebadged as HTC Love

If you think the HTC Love looks familiar, that is probably due to the fact that it is already readily available in the form of Dopod’s M700. This Windows-powered smartphone is a multimedia-oriented device, running on the Windows 5.0 operating system which is supported by a 200MHz OMAP 850 processor, 64MB RAM, and 128MB ROM. Other multimedia features include a 2 megapixel camera, a built-in FM radio, and WiFi with Bluetooth connectivity. There is no word on when this quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE smartphone will be available under the HTC brand, but industry sources are looking at an early 2007 release. Impatient folks can always pick up the Dopod M700 first.
