Samsung are currently working on a prototype of the Fusion Memory Chip which is also known as the OneDRAM. This new type of memory will apparently be used in any mobile device that requires intensive 3D rendering or calculations be it game consoles, portable media players, or even PDAs. There is no word on when the prototype will be commercialized and marketed, but a positive development would be a boon to the gaming industry on the whole as more and more people are exposed to this wonderful past time, regardless of the gadget they’re carrying.
