Skype Video Phone bridges gap

Looks like 3J Communications is on a roll here after releasing the SkyPartner SP101, with the Skype Video Phone being the next model to hit the market. This VoIP-enabled phone looks like a normal landline phone, featuring the standard numeric keypad, a large LCD display, and a camera that is attached to the base of the phone. The camera’s resolution is pretty entry-level at 320 x 240 pixels with a frame rate of 30fps. You can now carry out long distance video conversations via Skype with the Skype Video Phone, making it ideal for conferences, meetings, and even casual conversations with friends and family who are far away. Those who prefer MSN and Yahoo! Messenger will be pleased to know that the $56.88 Skype Video Phone is compatible with both programs as well.
