SGI Japan has lifted the curtain on the RoomRender intelligent room system that is smart enough to control various electronics, hardware, and appliances in a room from spoken commands as well as emotions of the room’s occupants. Targeting company meeting rooms, smart homes, hotels, and hospitals, the RoomRender utilizes AmiVoice voice recognition technology to recognize and analyze verbal commands. You now just need to speak in order to close the blinds or turn on the TV. Simultaneously, the Feeling Wall will change lights according to the current mood in the room by analyzing the intonation and rhythm of voices. It costs anywhere between $40k to $50k to fit an average office meeting room with the RoomRender’s basic components.
