SuwonExpress brings TV to notebooks

Samsung, CyberLink, and Siano Mobile Silicon have entered a joint-venture to develop the SuwonExpress ExpressCard that enables notebooks to watch mobile digital TV no matter where you are. The SuwonExpress digital TV card takes plenty of technology based on the Siano MDTV SMS1000 receiver chipset and supports a quartet of spectrum bands that are used for mobile TV as well as five standards of mobile TV, consisting of DAB, DAB-IP, T-DMB, DVB-T, and DVB-H. Each purchase comes with a full software suite from CyberLink. You can expect to see the SuwonExpress in its full glory at CES 2007.
