Yoto from China has a spanking new 1GB portable media player that comes with a generous 2.4″ QVGA display and encased in brushed metal for a touch of class. Both sides house a variety of buttons and ports, and with a targeted price of just $50, it definitely beats forking out a few hundred for some branded gadgets such as the iPod or Zune. Since they’re so cheap, losing or spoiling them won’t be more than a minor annoyance as you can easily fork out another $50. In addition to the 1GB memory, the V200 also ships with a miniSD card slot, support for DivX and H.264 video formats, and a RK2608A processor that is more than capable of handling e-books, photos, and games.
