With more and more dual function mobile/WiFi phones being released, Actiontec Electronics decided to develop a wireless home router that was specifically built to work in tandem with such products. Known as the Actiontec Wireless FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) Router, it is capable of switching calls between the mobile and home WiFi networks automatically depending on where the users are. This means you can make much cheaper Internet-based calls from home, saving up the minutes in your talk plan only when you’re outside. Interested parties can look out for the Actiontec Wireless FMC this Q2 at $180 each.
