BBC working on virtual world for kids

The BBC aims to take the Second Life model by introducing a virtual world for kids this summer. This digital environment targets children who fall within the age group of six to 13, where the children are allowed to roam around freely, playing games and music while developing their creative streak by coming up with their own content. There are a couple of pitfalls to watch out for, where the problem of obesity could grow even larger as more kids take up a sedentary lifestyle in front of the computer while pedophiles pose as kids to bring their disgusting acts online.
