Apple’s smallest MP3 player, the iPod Shuffle, is now available in colors that are more exciting than the standard silver – blue, pink, green, and orange. Everything else about the Shuffle remains the same, from the half-ounce weight to the aluminum design with an integrated clip. This reminds me of Nintendo’s money printing machine, the DS Lite, that continues the Big N’s tradition of unveiling new colors for an existing console. If you already own an iPod Shuffle, would you go out, part with $79, and pick a new color? Hopefully this is not the rumor which we’ve been hearing concerning an iPod update.
