Garmin Nuvi 680

The Nuvi 680’s main improvement is the addition of the MSN Direct service. This is the same technology used used on the SPOT watches to receive a stream of data (messages, news, weather, traffic) via FM radio transmission. Other than that, it’s very similar to Previous Nuvi Models, although I’ve been told that internal hardware changes makes the Nuvi 680 more than a simple software upgrade, at least to the manufacturer. It should ship in the next few months.
