iTablet from Amtek

CES 2007 – Perhaps you are looking for an alternative tablet PC to the more established brands that are available in the market, and the Amtek iTablet fits the bill perfectly. Available in a wide range of configuration (from low-end Celeron processors to the more powerful Pentium ones), the iTablet comes in two models – the T200 and the T201. The fundamental difference between both models is the choice of input, where the former requires you to use an electromagnetic digitizer, while the latter works like any other touchscreen. These iTablets are meant for those who are frequently on-the-go, and are definitely not suited for processor intensive tasks. It offers a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 and integrated LAN, WiFi, and a sound card. Pricing details are currently unavailable, but you could check it out as an alternative. I like the white color that adorns the iTablet, but the weight of 2.5kg could be a potential stumbling block to purchasers.
