Nike seems to have taken steps of its own to enable runners record and upload Nike+ data without the need for an iPod by introducing the Nike Speed+ watch. This watch is capable of giving you an exact reading of how far you have run after converting data to speed and distance information. The LCD display shows additional information such as pace, elapsed time, and calories burned during your workout. Unfortunately, the Speed+ watch comes in only one color – black, and that just won’t do for some people. More details regarding price and availability will be released in the near future, so watch this space.
