Nokia 61i receives FCC nod

The FCC has peered and manhandled the Nokia N61i from all angles, finally realizing that it is fit for public consumption in North America by stamping its approval on this quad-band device. The 61i is tipped to succeed the business class Nokia E61 and E62 models, retaining a full QWERTY keyboard along with GSM and EDGE connectivity. A camera of unknown megapixel count is also thrown into the fray, and we suspect that this camera would not exceed the 3 megapixels mark. Memory expansion options are made available via the microSD memory card slot. Look out for an official release from Nokia in the coming months.
