CES 2007 – Panasonic has announced that it is selling 103” plasma displays by the hundreds. Customers are mainly celebrity and professionals but we can dream that each of us will be able to afford one eventually… if our living room permits. Apparently, John Chambers (the CEO of Cisco Systems) said that this gigantic TV would not fit in his apartment. On a side note, I totally agree with Panasonic when they say that 1080p matters most on large TVs (above 42”). For smaller TVs (37”), it’s more of a marketing bullet point than a real consumer benefit.
