CES 2007 – Sanyo was presenting its second generation GPS on the showfloor: the NVM 4050 and the NVM 4070. The Sanyo 4050 is a basic GPS with mapping and directions while the 4070 has more advanced features like Bluetooth hands free and TMC (Traffic Message Channel) traffic information. Both units have multiple language options and can play MP3. Only the 4070 plays DivX video files.
Unfortunately, this second generation does not stand out from the pack, in either design, functionality or speed. Let’s see what Sanyo does for the 3rd generation.
