Ever gone grocery shopping only to forget a couple of items when you get back? The SmartShopper does not use the trusty pen-and-paper technique, relying instead on voice recognition to digitize your shopping list. Just record whatever you want to pick up at your next shopping trip and print out the list from the SmartShopper when you hit the store. Sounds fine and dandy, doesn’t it? I wonder if the voice recognition technology is up to par that the device won’t confuse “boots” with “boobs”, despite the fact that I won’t mind purchasing the latter for personal consumption. Those who want to tempt fate can pick up the SmartShopper for $150.
