Amidst all the excitement surrounding new cellphones releases at the 3GSM World Congress in Spain, Brando has quietly slipped past a GSM handset that does a play on the Nokia brand name. Known as the NOKIR E828, this cellphone comes with a generous 2.6″ touchscreen color display at 240 x 320 pixels, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capability, MP3 and MPEG4 playback, Java games support, and a voice recording feature. The E828 measures 110mm x 55mm x 14mm, weighs 104g and operates on the 900/1800MHz GSM network. It retails for $200 and remains to be seen whether the functions live up to the cellphone itself.
