Those living outside of Japan will be surprised to know that there are no street names or house numbers in the Land of the Rising Sun, which is why owning a GPS navigation system for a tourist or new expat is highly important. To find your way around, you have to navigate through a maze of districts, blocks, and house. Those who are unfamiliar with the system will find the Clarion DrivTrax P5 useful as it boasts a SiRFStar III GPS chipset inside, a SD memory card slot, and a brilliant 4.3″ display. The DrivTrax P5 measures 132mm x 90.5mm x 22mm and comes with 4.5 hours of battery life. There is no word on pricing or availability details.
