New parents will find that changing a soiled nappy while sitting in a car seat is nigh impossible, well at least until the Pad Concept is mass produced. Developed by California State University, this baby car seat boasts the versatility of both a changing station and a baby car seat. Designed by Ravi Itiravivong, it comes with a swivel base that can be rotated left or right while staying put, enabling the backrest to be folded back for your baby to remain in a lying position. Once you’re done with the clean up job, just turn the makeshift bed back into a baby car seat. Whoever commercializes this product will have an endless stream of parents thanking them.
