The U.S. military is always at the forefront of technology, and this time they are recepients of a flexible and lightweight light panel that can be folded or crushed without faltering. Made from an electroactive ploymer-based material, the SuperFlex panel is capable of turning most objects into a light source thanks to PEDOT, a polythiophene-based, conductive polymer. Depending on what you want to light up, just coat it with some SuperFlex, hook it up into any available AC outlet and you’re good to go. Other than for military use, some of the more practical methods would be packing the SuperFlex light panel into tents.
