New anti-counterfeiting technology

Counterfeiters beware! Toppan Printing of Japan has successfully developed a spanking new nanotext printing technology that enables one to insert text on a microscopic level into holographic images. This new layer of security will definitely go a long way against those involved in the counterfeiting industry, especially gift certificates, credit cards, and luxury brand goods. This new technology enables one to print over 20 holographic characters within a space that measures approximately 80 microns – the equivalent of the width of a human hair. A full market release is expected to follow this autumn once mass production issues are ironed out.
