Apple is currently working on bringing 15.4″ MacBooks to the masses sometime in Q2 this year, making it the perfect filler between 13.3″ and 17″ MacBook Pros that are currently available. Current 13.3″ MacBooks are made by Asustek Computer, while the upcoming 15.4″ models will be manufactured by Quanta Computer, the very same company that does 15.4″ and 17″ MacBook Pros. Other than specifications, consumers are concerned with the price as well. Word on the street is these 15.4″ MacBooks will be more competitively priced that the 13.3″ counterparts due to a relatively lower cost of LCD panels.
