It is interesting to note that Nintendo actually had its eyes set upon the cellphone industry back in November 2001 when the company filed a patent which was issued just in June last year. The patent was described as being an “Electronic apparatus having game and telephone functions”, while not the most eloquent of prose, sheds more than enough clues to let us know that you can play games on your cellphone. Does that mean you get emulated GBA-quality games on your cellphone, or do you have to purchase extra memory cards? We’ll never know as there is no further news from Nintendo’s part. Should it be produced though, the Big N had better come up with a viable battery solution.
