Microsoft looks set to go after Apple’s jugular with news that the suits in Microsoft are currently working on details of a Zune-based cellphone. Although details about the final product are extremely scant, we do know that it will be yet another smartphone that works within the Zune marketplace. Users will be surprised to hear that Windows Mobile will probably be ditched in favor of an interface which is similar to the current Zune. You would also be able to connect to your Xbox 360 and stream video off it directly, making it seem as if Microsoft wants to take over every aspect of your life. Word has it that this product will be released sometime in December, making this a truly interesting year. What are your views on this?
