Sony’s reign in the portable audio player market died with the MiniDisc, where Apple duly took over and never looked back since. With the market dominance in the world of DAPs, it is a wise but humbling move by Sony to release the CPF-IP001 iPod Docking Station. This basic docking station is deceptively simple, featuring a couple of 5-watt speakers and a 15watt subwoofer, which is slightly louder than the average docking stations in its class. The $250 CPF-IP001 iPod Docking Station is available at a retail store near you.
