Innowell has unveiled the Uren A1 mobile computer that targets those who want to run a computer in their vehicles to keep the entire passenger manifesto entertained during long road trips. Powered by an AMD LX800 processor, the Uren A1 runs on Windows XP and is capable of running multimedia content as well as Microsoft Office applications just like a normal computer. Features include a 7″ touchscreen display, an integrated SiRFStar III GPS chipset, and HSDPA connectivity support. The Uren A1 is tipped to retail for approximately $750, and Innowell has plans for a similar model with DMB capability sometime later this year.
