Yamaha develops heat-resistant mic

Word on the street is Yamaha will be working on a heat-resistant microphone specifically meant for cellphones, although we’re not too sure why anyone would want that unless they work in a coal mine or are minions of hell. This new microphone is expected to measure 4mm square and a miniscule 1mm thick, capable of reducing ambient noise for a clearer conversation. Somebody better tell Yamaha to create a heat-resistant cellphone while they’re at it, as a microphone encased in melted plastic and silicone is not going to be of any good.
