Buffalo is taking the road less traveled with the BOMU-JK/M mouse that replaces the scroll wheel with a D-Pad. Personally, I can’t see my middle finger adapting to the D-Pad as easily as a scroll wheel. Sure, the D-Pad will be able to scroll up, down, left, and right but it sure feels awkward doing so. I would rather have those dual scroll wheels that you find on other mice. Southpaws will be pleased to know that the BOMU-JK/M is an ambidextrous rodent. There is no word on pricing or availability of what I presume to be an 800dpi optical mouse. What do you guys think of this new control scheme?
