While Wii modchips have been released recently, Nintendo strikes back by altering the circuit layout of its Wii console in order to prevent the use of such modchips in the future. Unfortunately in this game of cat and mouse, analysts predict that a new generation of modchips capable of working with the revised Wii consoles will be released within a month. According to industry sources, the altered circuit layout of the revised consoles will make it more difficult to mod your Wii, increasing the chances of damaging the system instead. Everyone should get on with the program already and purchase only originals, then all these modding nonsense will be thrown out of the window for good.
